Does it cost anything to use?+
No. Browsing, email alerts, and applying are completely free for renters — no account needed.
Is it safe?+
Never send money or a deposit before viewing a home and signing a written tenancy agreement. If something feels off, email us and we'll look into the listing.
Are these listings real?+
Yes. Every listing is posted directly by the landlord who owns or manages the home, and it disappears the moment they mark it rented. Nothing here is scraped from other sites.
How do I apply?+
Every listing lets you send the landlord a quick message with your move-in date, household and pets. It goes straight to their email and they reply to you directly. Some landlords also have an online application form. We don't keep a copy of your message, and in BC landlords can't charge a fee to apply.
What are email alerts?+
Tell us what you're looking for (beds, budget, pets) and we'll email you the moment a matching home is listed. One click unsubscribes you. We never share your email or use it for anything else.
I applied — when will I hear back?+
That's up to the landlord, but they're notified instantly and most reply within a day or two. You can always follow up directly using the contact info on their page.

What does it cost to list?+
Nothing. Listing is free — this site exists to make renting in Powell River easier for everyone.
What do I get?+
A public page for your rentals, a spot in the Powell River directory, photo galleries, instant email alerts to matching renters, and a message form that sends renters' enquiries straight to your email. Tenant, rent and maintenance tools are coming soon.
How fast can I list a place?+
Create an account, add the property, flip the listing toggle — most landlords are live in under ten minutes.
How do renters contact me?+
Through a short message form on your listing, delivered straight to your email. Your email address isn't shown publicly, so you avoid spam. You can also add a link to your own application form (our Resources page has a free template).
